The original kitchen featured builder-grade oak cabinetry, laminate countertops, and an underutilized alcove that offered little day-to-day function. The homeowners wanted a warmer, more refined space with better storage, improved organization, and a dedicated area for coffee, beverages, and entertaining.
The kitchen was transformed with custom alder cabinetry, quartz countertops, a gray subway tile backsplash, and matte-black hardware and fixtures throughout. The unused alcove became a custom coffee and beverage station complete with a beverage refrigerator and floating shelves illuminated with integrated LED lighting. Matching cabinetry was also added to the laundry room, creating additional storage and a dedicated folding area while maintaining a cohesive design throughout the home.
Thoughtful storage solutions, including blind-corner pull-outs, a utensil pull-out beside the range, and customized organization features, maximize accessibility and ensure every inch of cabinetry works harder for everyday living.
